An informative fun day
Autism SA held a very interesting information session for the parents in the hall, while the children played outside.
On Saturday 23 July, the Rant-en-Dal School held a parents’ information day, which they combined with a fun day for the children.
The school provides quality education and lots of love to pupils with autism and severe intellectual disabilities. The day served as a learning experience for the parents, while allowing the children to enjoy themselves outside.
The children were surprised to see a pony, brought to the school by Captain Riaan Opthoff from the Krugersdorp Police, on which they were able to take a ride, and by jumping castles that provided endless entertainement.
Autism SA held a very interesting information session for the parents in the hall. Parents were also addressed by the school principal, Renier Els, before meeting with the teachers.
“The school will be having a Christmas market in November and we call on the community to please support us,” said Michelle van Zyl, deputy principal of the school.
