Great competition for those who excel at fundraising
Are you great at fundraising for charities? Then this competition is for you!
Women of Substance (WoS) wants to take its Women of the Year Awards competition one step further for next year.
Last year saw the inception of the event, which was attended by 200 guests. The guest speaker was Edith Venter. There were five categories, with 21 nominees. The award winners are extraordinary, purpose-driven women worthy of this accolade.
In addition to the awards WoS runs the Fundraiser Competition which coincides with the Women of the Year Awards.
This competition, which is open to men and women, launched on 17 August and will end next year on 6 March.
The winner – the person who raises the most money – will be announced on the evening of the awards.
There is an entry fee of R100, with strict criteria and rules of engagement. The beneficiaries are Cansa and HospiceWits.
