Biker in critical condition

A motorcyclist is in a critical condition following a collision with a vehicle at 6.30am this morning on the R24 near Krugersdorp.

Netcare 911 paramedics teamed up with another private emergency service to stabilise the 49-year-old motorcyclist’s condition at the scene of the collision. Once stabilised, the man was transported to a nearby hospital.

It is unclear whether or not the occupants of the vehicle sustained any injuries.

The exact details of the cause of the accident remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
