Women of Substance will be hosting a telethon for Operation Restoration – The Bright One on Friday 2 September.
The Bright One will be an extension of the Cradle of Hope’s current services to women and children in desperate need.
The Cradle of Hope is in need of R300 000 to complete the restoration and building work, replace gutters, paint, pave, erect car-ports, repair and replace ceilings, plumbing and tiling, and equip the house.
The organisation is registered as a Public Benefit Organisation with Sars in terms of section 18A of the Income Tax Act 58 of 1962, which provides tax exemption benefits to donors.
