Rocking for the Paws
Rocking For The Paws is an annual event held in conjunction with Fanbase Music Magazine to raise money for the Roodepoort SPCA.
Rocking for the Paws is a show for which some of the best local acts give up their time to help raise funds and awareness for the SPCA Roodepoort Maraisburg. The event will be taking place on 1 October.
Krugersdorp no longer has a SPCA, which means that the Roodepoort SPCA has to cater to our area as well. In order to cover the costs and demands of running their facility, the SPCA relies heavily on the public to keep its doors open.
Fanbase Music Magazine in conjunction with the Roodepoort SPCA will be hosting a charity event at Rumours Lounge in Weltevreden Park to help the animals. Fourteen artists and bands, including The South Shore Ramblers, The Dandies (formerly the Jack Rolling Dandy’s), Jasper Dan (who opened for Iron Maiden), Gunslinger and Thundermerwe have come together to put on an unforgettable show for the event’s third annual instalment.
Entrance is R70pp, and if you donate a blanket, food or a toy you’ll get a shot sponsored by Rumours Lounge. All proceeds will go the the SPCA Roodepoort in aid of our furry counterparts.
