60 years of a spiritual marriage
Four sons and a daughter, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren later, and still going strong.
The Reverend Gideon Albertus Francois Tredoux and his wife, Jeanette Elise Tredoux, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on 15 September.
The couple was married on 15 September 1956 in Pietermaritzburg, and have four sons and a daughter, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Gideon studied towards his first Theological Degree at the Nazarene Bible College in Potchefstroom in 1959, and continued with further studies in the 1960s while pastoring. However, his initial dream was to become a judge.

He ministered in Rustenburg, Klerksdorp, Krugersdorp, Pietermaritzburg and Windhoek before retiring in 2000.
Jeanette, who has an identical twin living in the Western Cape, is a born missionary as she enjoys helping others and giving. Besides serving as ‘Mevrou Dominee’, she has also been a bookkeeper, a doctor’s assistant, a real estate agent, and the business manager of the Malawi College.
Congratulations Albertus and Jeanette!
