KHS soccer player heading to Spain
A West Rand teenager's passion for the game has opened doors to international coaching and potential opportunities in Spanish soccer.
Krugersdorp High School learner Cyllian Leeu has been selected for assessments and trials with Levante UD, a professional soccer club in Spain.
According to Cyllian’s father, Collin, the assessments take place from September 25 to October 10.

He plays in the U14 division of the Gauteng Development League for Siwelele FC, a Premier Soccer League youth development club. He began playing organised team soccer at nine years old, although his passion for the game started much earlier, with a soccer ball seemingly glued to his feet from the moment he learned to walk.
He represented Grey College at both U9 and U11 level before relocating to the West Rand,” Collin said.
