Father finds family severely assaulted in lodge
The family was renting a house at a lodge when they were attacked.
Krugersdorp Police are investigating a case of robbery and assault after suspects attacked a family in their residence at a lodge in Kromdraai on Tuesday, 24 October.
It is alleged a male victim was home with his wife and child when he heard noises outside his house. He went out of the house to inspect. He returned inside and found his wife and child had been assaulted by a number of suspects. The suspects had stolen cellphones, passports and a wallet. It is alleged the suspects had knives with them.
The suspects fled in a bakkie that belongs to the reserve. The vehicle is described as a silver Nissan Hardbody double cab bakkie.
The Krugersdorp Police have appealed to the community to assist with any information regarding the incident and to be on the lookout for this type of vehicle.
