Four bust for dagga possession

Police discovered a plastic bag containing nine parcels.

Kagiso police have arrested four suspects, aged between 18 and 23, for being in possession of a quantity of dagga.

Police were conducting their sector duties in Tshepisong on Wednesday, 26 October when they received a complaint over their radio that suspects at a certain address were allegedly in possession of dagga.

The police responded and the landlord of the house granted them permission to search the yard. The police discovered four suspects in a shack behind the house. They also discovered a plastic bag containing nine parcels of weed on top of a radio speaker. The suspects were arrested, and are being detained at the Kagiso police station.

The suspects will appear in the Kagiso Magistrates’ Court soon on charges of possession.
