Woman arrested for stoning a man

A 25-year-old woman was arrested for assaulting a man in Hekpoort on Thursday, 3 November.

The complainant alleged that while at a party with his brothers, a group of people started fighting with his brothers.

He tried to help his brothers and calm both parties, but the alleged attacker grabbed a stone and threw it at him.

He sustained an injury to his right eye. The suspect was arrested and will appear court on Friday 11 November.
