A man died on Christmas Day after his vehicle had overturned on the Groot Elandsvlei Road at approximately 9.30pm.

According to Athlenda Mathe, spokesperson of Netcare 911 the man was the only occupant of the vehicle.

Netcare 911 paramedics worked alongside Krugersdorp’s fire department personnel to free the man from the wreckage. He was later declared dead on scene.
