It is believed a collision between a bakkie and another vehicle happened at approximately 7am.
A collision on Voortrekker Road near the Burger Box Roadhouse caused delays in traffic on the morning of 6 Juanuary as one lane was closed for about 90 minutes.

It is believed a collision between a bakkie and another vehicle took place at approximately 7am. One man was trapped in his vehicle and Krugersdorp Fire Department officials had to extricate him.
The man was stabilised on the scene before being transported to a private hospital by Netcare 911 paramedics. He sustained moderate injuries.
Help24 personnel were also on scene to assist. The scene was cleared at about 8.20am and the lane was reopened to traffic. The cause of the collision is still the subject of a police investigation.
