Power only back on later tonight
A busbar needs to be replaced at the Condale Substation.
Residents of various parts of the city can only expect to have their power restored later tonight.
The power outage in parts of Krugersdorp will continue until about 9pm tonight, according to latest reports.
The News reported earlier today that areas such as Wentworth Park, Monument, Kenmare, Silverfields, Noordheuwel, Factoria and Rangeview had no power because of a problem with a transformer at the Condale Substation.
A busbar which sustained damage needs to be replaced. Mogale City workers have already started working on the problem and will continue to do so until it is resolved.
Residents are asked to please be patient – everything that can be done is being done, as fast as possible.
