An armed robber allegedly opened fire on three victims in their residence in Nooitgedacht on Monday, 16 January at about 9.30pm.
It is believed a 28-year-old victim was at home when she heard a knock at the door. She opened the door and her husband (45) and daughter (11) entered their home. They were followed by three male suspects. One of the suspects was armed and allegedly opened fire on the victims.
The three victims sustained gunshot wounds in their lower bodies as the suspect fired shot after shot.
The suspects then raided the house, taking household appliances and cellphones, and fled the scene.
The victims went to the hospital where their injuries were treated. No arrests were made.
