Breaking: Girls assaulted in Mulderdsdrift home invasion

Three people, a father and his two daughters (aged 14 and 16), sustained serious injuries during the night of 2 February, after several armed men stormed their residence near the R114, Muldersdrift and assaulted them.
Russel Meiring, spokesperson for ER24, reported that at 11pm last night the company deployed paramedics to the scene after they received distressed messages on a community group.
Upon arrival, paramedics found other medical services assisting the two girls. Further investigation of the scene led them to the father, who had sustained serious head injuries, and they began treating him.
“It is understood that several armed men stormed the residence at approximately 6pm last night,” Meiring said. “The men then tied the father and daughters up and proceeded to assault them.”
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigation.
The girls were treated for soft tissue injuries by the other medical services. The three patients were later transported to Life Fourways for further treatment.
