The start of something new
As a result of the ridiculous nature of the situations some local criminals have found themselves in, the News has decided to create a series of articles called Dimwitted Criminal of the Week.
The News has decided to create a series of articles to highlight the dimwittedness of local criminals, as a result of the ridiculous nature of some of the situations these criminals have found themselves in. The series has been dubbed ‘Dimwitted Criminal of the Week’ (DC of the Week for short).
During the last month, the News has received numerous statements from various police stations about criminals going to extreme lengths and making various rookie mistakes while committing crimes.
The series will appear on the News’ website every Thursday at about noon for the next couple of weeks. Bear in mind that the News realises the seriousness of crime in our area, and that we only wish to laugh through the pain with our community. It is not our intention to make fun of crime in general, but we do sometimes see the humorous side of certain situations and want to share that with our community.
Lookout for the first article in the DC series which will appear at noon on Thursday, 2 February.
