[WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGE] Body found on Muldersdrift road

The body of a man was found lying in the middle of Indaba Lane in Muldersdrift at about 5.30am on the morning of Wednesday, 8 February. It is believed the body was discovered by security guards.

ER24 paramedics were dispatched to the scene shortly after the body was found.

Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained fatal injuries to his neck and showed no signs of life.

It appeared the man had been dead for some time.

Paramedics realised nothing could be done for the man and he was declared dead on scene.

Details of the incident remain unknown, but local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
