"Reports from the scene indicate that a truck and trailer veered off the road, hurtled down an embankment and came to rest in the bushes nearby."

Three people were left with serious life-threatening injuries after a truck crashed into an embankment on the N14 near the Usambara Venue and Lodge on Friday, 24 February at about 3pm.

“Reports from the scene indicate that a truck and trailer veered off the roadway, hurtled down an embankment and came to rest in some bushes alongside the roadway,” said Chris Botha, the spokesperson for Netcare 911.
