Third brutal murder suspect arrested

The body had multiple stab wounds and was found naked in the street.

Kagiso Police have arrested a third suspect after they discovered that he was allegedly involved in the murder of a man in Swaneville during February.

Kagiso Police traced the suspect after they found the naked body of a man with multiple stab wounds lying in a pool of blood in the area on Wednesday, 8 February.

Police launched an investigation into the death and arrested two suspects after they received a tip-off about their whereabouts from the community.

After the suspects were arrested they allegedly told the police that they were a part of a group of four people who had committed the crime.

The police investigated these claims, which then led to the arrest of the third suspect. They are still searching for the fourth suspect. A case docket of murder was re-opened at Kagiso Police and the 32-year-old suspect was formally charged.

He is expected to appear in the court soon.
