Chopper searches for stolen vehicle in Noordheuwel

The community is urged to report any information connected to the crime.

A mysterious helicopter circled around parts of Krugersdorp last night (8 March) for more than two hours.

Members of the community were quite curious and wanted to know why a helicopter was circling around for so long.

According to the police spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale, a member of the community received a call from her vehicle tracking service, saying someone was fiddling with her vehicle. The complainant was at that moment allegedly at a local gym in the area. The tracking service then used a chopper to try to locate the missing vehicle.

Mashale also confirmed that the vehicle in question is a double-cab Toyota Hilux with the registration number CW 27 JB GP.
