Lions donate wheelchair for local bowlers in need

The wheelchair will be assisting a bowler to participate in this sport.

The Lions Club of Krugersdorp is well-known for the good causes they support in and around Krugersdorp.

Recently the club made a big difference by donating a wheelchair to a local bowling club.

The wheelchair is to assist disabled bowlers at the Krugersdorp Bowling Club. Bowling is a sport for everyone and the wheelchair will be assisting a bowler to participate in this sport.

Lions President Ivan du Plooy and Lion member Derek Carter went to the club to present the wheelchair to Cobus Smit.

The Lions Club has various programmes running at the moment. Their beehive project, Sterkfontein drive, disabled dancing, food collection, eye clinic and diabetes months are some of the projects that will be taking place soon.
