Drugs discovered at three local shelters

Drift Reaction, a Muldersdrift-based security company, joined forces with the Sector 4 Community Policing Forum (CPF) recently to combat drug abuse in Krugersdorp shelters.

Drift Reaction deployed their Iron Fist Squad’s K9 Unit and the CPF sent some of their members to three shelters in the area where they have long suspected that illegal narcotics were being hidden on Monday, 3 April .

Bullet, a K9 in the Unit and his handler searched all three premises and found a large quantity of various drugs, including heroin, CAT and dagga. They also discovered a hypodermic needle.

Both Drift Reaction and the CPF promised that they would conduct regular operations of this nature in the area to assist the police with combating the use and distribution of illegal substances.
