Man stabs friend half his age to death
The victim tried to stab the older man with a broken bottle. The man retaliated by stabbing the victim with a knife.
Krugersdorp Police arrested a 62-year-old suspect for allegedly murdering a man half his age on Sunday, 30 April.
It is alleged the 31-year-old victim and the suspect had an argument on this day. During the argument, the younger man tried to stab the older one with a broken bottle. The older one then pulled out a knife and allegedly stabbed the victim in the upper body. He died on scene.

Police were called to the scene by community members and the suspect was apprehended. The suspect was taken to hospital for treatment of his wounds and then detained at the Krugersdorp Police Station where a case of murder was opened against him. The suspect made his first appearence in the Krugersdorp Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 2 May.
He was remanded in custody for a formal bail application.
