Two more pedestrians killed on N14
Less than a month after the deaths of two allegedly pregnant women, two other people were killed on the same road.
Two pedestrians, aged 34 and 32, died on the N14 near the R511 and R114 after they were knocked down by a vehicle.
It is believed the incident happened on Sunday, 7 May at about 9.21pm.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene and found the two deceased. Both patients had severe blunt trauma injuries and had died prior to the arrival of the paramedics.
The cause of the incident and preceding events is being investigated by the Joburg Metro Police Department, which also attended the scene.
This is the second time in less than a month that pedestrians have been killed on the N14. Two other pedestrians lost their lives on 19 April when they tried to cross the dangerous road after allegedly visiting a nearby clinic. They were allegedly pregnant.
