DC of the week: Three rob learner of his tablet
They also took his dad's clothes and cellphone.
Kagiso Police arrested two suspects, aged 22 and 31, on Thursday, 18 May after they allegedly had broken into a house two days earlier and stole a learner’s tablet.
It is alleged the learner was in his room busy studying on his tablet when he heard the door open. He thought it was his father, but three other men suddenly appeared. Two pointed firearms at him and one had a knife. They took the learner’s tablet, which belonged to his school, and went to his father’s bedroom. There they took his cellphone and clothes.

The men then fled the scene. It is not clear whether or not they fled on foot.
Police later got a tip-off about the suspects’ whereabouts. They were subsequently cornered and arrested in Tshepisong.
They were detained at Kagiso Police Station and a case docket of house robbery was opened.
They will appear in the Kagiso Magistrates’ Court soon.
