Man hijacked as he approaches his vehicle
He begged the suspects not to shoot him.
Police have arrested three suspects after they allegedly hijacked a vehicle in Chamdor.
Last week, a man told police that he had left his vehicle parked in Fransen Street. On returning to the car, he noticed three unknown men standing near it.
Suddenly one of the men saw him, drew a firearm and pointed it at him. The car owner begged the armed man not to shoot him. The suspect forced the man to leave everything he had inside the car and stand next to the vehicle. The suspects then fled the scene in the car.

His valuables, including a camera, cellphone, GPS, clothes and a wallet were still inside the vehicle when they sped off. He also had a high-quality sound system installed in his car. A be on the lookout (BOLO) alert was issued for the vehicle and it was traced to the Zulu Jump informal settlement the next day.
All three suspects were arrested and later detained at the Kagiso Police Station, where a case docket of possession of a hijacked vehicle was opened.
They appeared in court briefly and were remanded in custody for further police investigations.
