[UPDATE] Baby Hope moved to children’s home

Her future is uncertain since her mother appeared in court on charges of child abandonment.

Baby Hope, the newborn who was found abandoned head-first in a toilet in Key West Shopping Centre more than a month ago, has been discharged from hospital and is now in the care of a local children’s home, The Bethany House Trust.

She was deemed healthy and is growing perfectly; however, her future is very uncertain. Her biological mother appeared in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court yesterday, 22 June on charges of child abandonment.
