[JUST IN] Three caught after attempted vehicle theft at Noordheuwel shopping centre
Three men were caught with apparatus used to steal vehicles.
Vigilant security at the Noordheuwel Shopping Centre (where Noordheuwel Checkers is located) resulted in the arrest of three men who attempted to steal a Toyota Hilux from the basement parking area this afternoon, 30 June.
An official from Dowry’s High Risk unit informed the News of the three men who were caught with vehicle theft apparatus, number plates and cellphones.
The vigilance of the shopping centre’s security helped in the apprehension of the perpetrators.

Local authorities such as the Sector 7 Community Policing Forum and Defcon Security were also on the scene.
