Another murder/ suicide in Krugersdorp
Less than a week after a similar incident occurred in Chancliff, police were shocked to witness another murder/ suicide in Munsieville
The Krugersdorp Police are investigating another case of murder and suicide after a man shot his ex-girlfriend and then himself in Jabulani Street, Munsieville on Sunday, 9 July.
A police informant told the News they had received a complaint about a shooting in the street. When police arrived on scene they saw an armed man walking around in his yard. When they approached him, he put the gun to his head and shot himself.
He fell on top of another body, which police found to be that of his ex-girlfriend, whom he had shot five times. Both the woman and the man were declared dead on scene.
The police are continuing with their investigation.
This murder/ suicide comes one week after a similar incident in Chancliff. In that incident a man, who is believed to have been a Red Ant security guard, shot and killed his alleged girlfriend and then himself on Clifford Street in Chancliff at about 7.30am on Tuesday, 4 July, after an argument between the two.

Police have not confirmed whether the two cases are linked in any way.
