Police need community’s help to trace murder suspect
They found a man in a pool of blood lying next to a delivery truck.
Police found the body of a man lying in a pool of blood in Tshepisong West after they received a tip-off about an alleged shooting in the area, and now they need the community’s help to trace the suspect/s who shot him.
On Thursday, 20 July, police found the man lying in the street near a delivery truck which was crashed into a wall.
They believe the deceased was the driver of the truck who had lost control of the vehicle after he was shot in the back of his shoulder and his left arm-pit.

He was certified dead on scene by paramedics. The motive for the shooting is unknown and police cannot rule out the possibility of robbery. An intensive investigation has been launched.
Kagiso Police are appealing to anyone with information that could lead to the successful arrest of the perpetrator(s) to call them on 011 696 9000 /9059/ 9065/ 9068 or the Crime Stop line on 08600 10111. Informants can also use the free SMS tip-off line on 32211. Your information will be treated with strict confidentiality.
