[FOLLOW UP] Second murder occurred hours after police discovered man in pool of blood

Police have intensified their investigations after a second murder victim was found in Tshepisong West, just hours after they discovered the body of a man lying in a pool of blood.
The police were approached by a man who said his friend had allegedly been murdered by three gun-wielding suspects on Thursday, 20 July.

He told police he was walking with two of his friends, when three people approached them and enquired about the contents of their back packs.
One of the suspects pulled out a gun which he handed to one of his accomplices. One of the friends then bolted for cover while the rest talked to the suspects. The friends then heard gunshots and realised their friend had been shot.
They returned to the scene later and found their friend motionless on the ground, bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds. They called the paramedics, who declared him dead soon after arriving.
Brigadier Sipho Ngubane, spokesperson for the Kagiso Police said that it’s time that the public started to work more closely with the police.
“To expose these ruthless criminals who do not have respect for human life, we need to work closer than ever before. Let us use all alternatives and means to help the police arrest these criminals,” he said.
