Celeste Ntuli talks Black Tax at Silverstar
Celeste has come a long way since she was first discovered performing in a marquee in Durban.
Silverstar will soon be exploring the phenomenon of Black Tax with Celeste Ntuli and her latest one-woman stand-up comedy show.
In this hilarious show, she discusses all that makes average South Africans who they are and explores where we are as a people.
Black Tax is Celeste’s side-splitting take on everything from yellow bones and fifty shades to socio-economics.
But who is the woman behind the comedy?
Celeste has come a long way since she was first discovered performing in a marquee in Durban more than nine years ago. She first captured our attention as a Top 10 contestant on SABC’s So You Think You’re Funny, where she came third. This exposure allowed her to launch a full-time career in stand-up comedy, and she has not looked back since.
The show, which takes place on 5 August, will be hosted by the comical and multi-talented Isaac Gampu.
Celeste, a no-holds-barred force of nature, will make you think, laugh and fall in love with our beautiful nation all over again.
