Protesters blocking roads as grievance against Zuma

Protesters have taken to the streets this morning to demonstrate their opinions about the vote of no-confidence against President Jacob Zuma.

The secret ballot will take place in Parliament this afternoon, but across Gauteng, citizens of the country had already started voicing their dissatisfaction by protesting.

Chamdor and Kagiso are the worst affected areas in Krugersdorp.
The following roads are blocked off, either by rocks or by burning tyres:
• Mclean and Adcock Street/ Chamdor Road
• Mclean and Pillans Streets
• Fransen and Jacob Streets
• Kagiso Drive
• Randfontein Road near Leratong Hospital
Roads affected in the area surrounding Krugersdorp:
• Hole in One Avenue in Ruimsig
• Albertina Sisulu Road at Princess informal settlement, Roodepoort
• Randfontein Road fron Leratong to the N1 Bypass
• Impala Road
Other affected areas in Gauteng:
• Soweto
• Honeydew
• Zandspruit
• Johannesburg CBD
• Rosettenville
• Turfontein
• Alexandra
• Ivory Park
