[BREAKING] Missing girl found murdered in Munsieville

A man walking in the mountains went to relieve himself and found the body of the 16 year old.

Krugersdorp Police are investigating a case of a murder after they found the body of a girl who went missing earlier this month in Munsieville.

It is alleged that a man went to the mountain to relieve himself and discovered the body of the 16-year-old girl.

She went missing on Saturday, 2 September and her family who reported her missing still had hope that she would be found alive until this morning.

Sergeant Tshepiso Mashele, spokesperson for the Krugersdorp Police station, said the deceased was identified by family members at the scene.

“All role-players attended the crime scene to proceed with a preliminary investigation.”

Brigadier Patrick Baloyi, Krugersdorp Police Station Commander appeals to the community to assist the investigating officer with information that could lead to the arrest of those who are responsible for this senseless crime.
