Thousands of dagga plants destroyed
Police officers and security personnel loaded quad bikes and horses with dagga plants.
Various security companies working with the Muldersdrift Police discovered and uprooted nearly 3 000 dagga plants in an informal settlement this week.
The private team, which consisted of officers from Conserv Security, Drift Reaction, Security and Manpower Solutions (SMS) and Interactive Security, supported the police. Without their help the process would have taken much longer.
