The funniest Easter egg designs ever

Here's a few simple ways you can decorate your Easter eggs uniquely.

If you’re having trouble finding inspiration to decorate your Easter eggs this year, or just want to try decorating them uniquely, have a look at these designs and consider trying out a few.

SpongeBob SquarePants has always been a favorite in households with teenage children and the characters have so many facial expressions it’s hard not to have a laugh at them every once in a while. So why not use a little bit of yellow and a little bit of white to depict some of his unique funny faces?

If you’re not all that artistic, you can always just draw faces on the white Easter eggs and watch them come alive. It also makes hiding these eggs fun as any place you put them can act as the reason why they’re pulling faces.

Add arms to these faces and you immediately have a funny combination of cuteness and character. You can also use edibles like licorice strings to add arms, or even add hair by using candy floss.

If you have teenagers in the house, you can also create emoji-inspired eggs, by using yellow paint as base and just adding faces with eyes, hearts, crosses or even tears.

Lastly, for those who want to get a little more creative, depicting cartoon, Anime or superheroes on eggs can become incredible fun. Because eggs are so round, the characters immediately look chubby and cute.

Decorate your Easter eggs in any way you like and send pictures to the News – who knows, we might use them for a future article. Send pictures to biancap@caxton.co.za.
