Katana owners show how it’s done
Each month all interested owners have the opportunity to get together, to mix and to mingle with their fellow bike owners.
They came, they saw, and they conquered the day. They are the Katana Owners Group (KOG) South Africa – a non-profit organisation that was set up with the aim of creating a brotherhood for all Katana owners world-wide.
Each month, all interested owners have the opportunity to get together, to mix and to mingle with their fellow Katana motorbike owners. This month was no different, when they gathered at Riverstone Lodge in Muldersdrift for an ecstatic day of bonding over a few exciting events.

On Sunday, 25 March, all Katana lovers, bikers and family members were welcomed with sunny skies and classic motorcycles. Some of the day’s activities included self-test training with a Dyno on the premises, self-Dyno test rides, a scrumptious brunch, a Katana photo shoot next to the Crocodile River, story telling by Trajan (TG) Grobler (from wheelchair to racing) and a TG Katana Technical Q&A session.
They even thought it fitting to invite a few children from the Mug and Tree Community Care Centre to enjoy the day with them.

“We asked them to come and experience the day with us. They had some good fun on the playgrounds and on the bikes. We also sent them home with a load of sweets, stationery, goody bags and some basic necessities,” one of the directors, Marinus Coetsee, said.
He went on to say that they rotate between the West, East, South and North of Gauteng each month, in order to put a different spin on the day’s events. Marinus is thrilled to have spent the day with his fellow Katana lovers and their guests from Mug and Tree.

He trusts that each guest had a pleasant experience.
