A modelling school – with a difference
"Many people think modelling is not a big thing. But when you look closer, you will notice how hard, formal and incredibly complex it is."
In the heart of a less affluent area lies a modelling school with a difference. Ambicious Modelling School was started by Dallinkie Magosane – who was a model herself.
“I did modelling to escape and be myself,” said Dallinkie. “I dropped out, but the love for it made me return to the place I love so much, to give other girls the love I have for it.”

On Saturday, 14 April, the school held a beauty pageant and fashion show to showcase their amazing and beautiful models. The models ranged in ages, sizes and their styles of walking were so different. But one thing was for sure – the models were all perfect.

Dallinkie hopes to enable these models to build portfolios so they could have futures in the modelling industry.
“It’s important to do because you support the community by giving them a way out – like building a portfolio to take them places.”

She hopes to get sponsorship to help these models with portfolios and would like the public to be able to help. To find out how you can help, contact Dallinkie on 073 373 0903.
