Urgent meeting: CPF to relaunch Sector 1

Here are the details ...

The members of the Krugersdorp Community Policing Forum (CPF) want to relaunch Sector 1 and will hold a meeting for that purpose on Saturday, 5 May.

Sector 1 consists of the CBD of Krugersdorp, where many issues have presented themselves.

Ward councillors Lynn Zwankhuizen and Jacqui Pannell have donated their Municipal Grants to get this sector of the CPF restarted.

Business owners, community members and all other interested parties are invited to attend the meeting, which will take place in the Banquet Hall at Krugersdorp Town Hall at 2pm.

The aims of this sector will be (like others):

• To communicate crime-related incidents and create awareness thereof

• To help create a safer neighborhood for residents and business people

• To improve communication between the community and the police

• To pro-actively create ideas to improve the safety and security of the sector

• To utilise private vehicles to patrol the sector

• To have all members of the community involved
