Pedestrian knocked down in Fransen Street, Chamdor

Upon arrival, Netcare 911 paramedics and other emergency medical services found the man lying in the road.

At about 6.15am this yesterday morning (Tuesday, 8 May) a man believed to be in his 50s was knocked down and injured by a light motor vehicle on Fransen Street in Chamdor.

Upon arrival, Netcare 911 paramedics and other emergency medical services found the man lying in the road, said the spokesperson for Netcare 911, Tebogo Magoro.

Upon further assessment it was noted that the man had sustained multiple injuries. He was stabilised on scene before being transported to hospital for further medical care.

The exact details surrounding the accident were not yet known to the paramedics.
