Damesoggend:
26 MEI — Die Cradle of Hope, ‘n huis vir vroue, hou ‘n damesoggend by die Suiderlig Kerk in Herbertstraat, Krugersdorp-Wes vanaf 9vm. Die tema van die oggend is ‘Maskers – vind jouself’. Kaartjies kos R165 per persoon en gasspreker Elsabe Bosch-Brits en gaskunstenaar Matt Stern gaan julle bederf met hul talente. Vir navrae, skakel vir Elmarie by 082 414 9765.
GINU Workshop:
26 MAY — Girl I Need You (GINU) is a non-profit organisation that concentrates on women of different ages, races and backgrounds from all corners of the world. The organisation has arranged the Realising your Purpose workshop, taking place in the Kagiso Extension 12 Hall from noon, where women will be empowering each other on issues of purpose. The event is free of charge and those interested are encouraged to register beforehand. To register, contact 084 230 7528.
Winterfees:
26 MEI — Die NG Kerk Krugersdorp-Oos Gemeente, in Lismorestraat, Kenmare, hou weer hul gewilde Winterfees. Hierdie jaar gaan hulle groot en bied ‘n 5km pretdrag sowel as tafeltennistoernooi aan. Die fees skop vanaf 8vm af en daar gaan ‘n verskeidenheid van eetgoed soos ontbyt, kerrie-en-rys, ‘n tee- en koektuin en ook ‘n spitbraai (in die middag) te koop wees. Vir die ontbyt en spitbraai moet daar vooraf bespreek word. Daar gaan ook talle stalletjies wees waar daar vleis, groente en allerlei te koop gaan wees. Salvation Army Charity Run:
27 MAY — The Syndicate Motorcycle Club West Rand Chapter invites the public to their Salvation Army Charity Run. Everyone is asked to meet up at the Joker at Wilrogate Shopping Centre from 8.30am. Donations and second-hand clothing will be greatly appreciated. Metal badges will also be on sale for R20. For more information, contact Pet Beyer on 083 227 1764.
Three Koppie Group Hike:

27 MAY — Join a guided group hike through the Melville Koppies. The group sets off at 8.30am sharp. Park, meet and pay in the upper car park at Marks Park on Judith Road, Emmarentia. Costs are R60 for adults and R40 for children – all donations are used to maintain the Koppies. Hikers must be fit with good balance as paths are rocky and steep. Children must be over six years old. Bingo Bango Bongo:

1 JUNE — The Rotary Club of Krugersdorp and their Anns are hosting a Bingo evening in the Centenary Hall to raise funds for their various community projects. All monies raised are ploughed back into the community. Book a table now to avoid disappointment. The cost for a table of 10 people is R1 200 (R120 per person). Come and join in a fun-filled evening. There are some great prizes up for grabs. Extra Bingo cards and lucky-draw tickets will be available. You can bring your own eats and drinks, but soup and bread will be served. Mardi Gras:

2 JUNE — The Featherbrooke Hills Retirement Village is hosting a Mardi Gras Carnival. There will be a beer tent and loads of food stalls. The children will also be entertained with great activities. There will be an information stall where all your questions about the village will be answered. Come and enjoy the day with them.
