Support the Rockabilly Hound Market – its for a ‘furry’ cause.

2 JUNE — A charity market day will take place at River Farm Village in Midrand from 9am in aid of the 9th Day Animal Shelter as well as Husky Heaven. There will be loads of live entertainment and activities for the whole family. Entrance is R20 plus a bag of pet food or a blanket. Come dressed to impress and support this worthy cause.

Fantasy Fayre:

Dress to impress at the Fantasy Fayre.

2 JUNE — Due to the overwhelming response to the first-ever Johannesburg Fantasy Fayre in 2017, you can once again embrace your inner beastie and join us in The Bestiary for a day full of the fantastic and fabulous. The team that brought you festivals such as A Viking Thing, Discworld Day and the Magical Medieval Fayre, AlterEgos Events, under the leadership of Meryl Rosenberg and Dayle Robyn Mallinson, have a flair for the magical, unique and unusual. Bring the whole family and enjoy this unique event from 10am to 6pm at the beautiful La Vue Guest Lodge in Lanseria. Tickets can be purchased online from Quicket for R70 (children and pets are free) or at the gate on the day for R90 – space is limited and tickets are selling fast!

Jacaranda Day:

2 JUNE — Jacaranda FM brings you the hottest ticket in town with Jacaranda Day 2018, bigger and better than ever, featuring ten of South Africa’s best live music acts, taking place at the Monument Amphitheatre in Pretoria. The seventh annual Jacaranda Day offers a day of family fun in the sun, jam-packed with all the artists you love, a stellar line-up that includes MiCasa, Freshlyground, Jo Black, Bobby van Jaarsveld, Refentse, Martin Bester, The Parlotones, Juanita du Plessis, Brendan Peyper and DJ Jazzy D. Tickets are priced at R165 per adult and R85 for kids under 12 and pensioners, available from www.jacarandafm.com. Parking is also available at R60 per vehicle.
