The Mystery Ghost Bus is running its newly launched Mystery Ghost Dinners.

9 JUNE — The Mystery Ghost Bus will run its newly launched Mystery Ghost Dinners once-off for the public in Johannesburg on 9 June. What’s on the menu? A ghost tour of the venue (which is a haunted hotel), a Victorian séance, and a Spirit Cabinet Act paired with a sumptuous three-course dinner at R595 per person. Medicinal Plant talk:

9 JUNE — The Friends of Kloofendal will be hosting a presentation and guided walk to learn more about the medicinal plants in Kloofendal at the Kloofendal Nature Reserve, Galena Avenue, Kloofendal from 9am to 11am. The presentation and walk will be headed by Suzanne van Coller. Costs are R70 for adults, R60 for pensioners and R50 for children. Bookings can be done on 079 693 5608.

Boktown on the Square:

9 JUNE — Silverstar’s Square will be alive with the sounds of passionate sports fans as it’s transformed into Boktown! From the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, to all of the biggest Springbok games, Silverstar will be screening these events live on the largest outdoor screen on the West Rand. General sports screenings will take place from 9am to 10pm, Sunday to Thursday, and 9am to 11pm on Friday and Saturday. Hike the Koppies:

10 JUNE — Join a three-koppie group hike of up to 10km through the Melville Koppies. The hike sets off 8.30am sharp. Park, meet and pay in the upper car park at Marks Park, Judith Road, Emmarentia. Entrance costs R60 for adults and R40 children – all donations used to maintain the Koppies. Hikers must be fit with good balance as paths are rocky and steep. Children must be over six years old.
