Young man critical after being hit by a car
He's a mere 22 years old and was knocked down near Lanseria.
A 22-year-old man was left critically injured when he was knocked over by a light motor vehicle on the R552 in Lanseria, yesterday afternoon, 20 June.
At approximately 5.20pm, ER24 paramedics, along with Life Healthcare, responded to the scene after receiving reports of a collision.

On arrival, paramedics found the patient lying on his side, unresponsive, in the middle of the road.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a critical condition. He was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the man was transported to Helen Joseph Provincial Hospital for urgent treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene to investigate the cause of this incident.
