Police looking for hitch-hiking hijacker

He was hitch-hiking and robbed the victim of the vehicle at gunpoint.

The West Rand Cluster Trio Task team is looking for a suspect whom they believe took part in a carjacking in Tarlton in June.

The police are now requesting the assistance of the community to identify the suspect.

The victim was able to assist in the compilation of an identity kit.

The suspect is described as a male with a coffee-coloured complexion, of about 32 years of age. He is approximately 1,75 metres tall, slender, and wore his hair in black dreadlocks. He was in possession of a firearm. He was clothed in blue overalls with reflector bands. He spoke Zulu. He was hitch-hiking and then stole the vehicle at gunpoint from the victim.

The investigating officer, Warrant Officer Scheepers would appreciate any information regarding this suspect.
