One injured in Mulderdrift armed robbery
When the victim refused to open the door, a shot was fired through it
The Muldersdrift Police are investigating a case of house robbery and attempted murder that occurred at a farm on Wednesday, 22 August at about 7.30pm.
It is alleged that the 40-year-old victim was at home with his family.

“He went outside and saw an unknown man approaching the house. The victim ran back into the house and closed the door. The unknown man then demanded that the victim open the door,” Constable Slindile Ntuli, Muldersdrift Police spokesperson explained.
“When the victim refused, a shot was fired through the door, and injured the victim’s wife.”
Three unknown men armed with firearms subsequently forced entry into the house and took electronic appliances.
“We are appealing to the community to assist with any information that could lead to the arrest of the persons involved in this crime,” Constable Ntuli said.
