Young man critical after vehicle rolls in Sterkfontein
The man had to be airlifted to hospital.
A 21-year-old man was left critically injured last night, 28 August, following an accident in which a vehicle rolled on the R563 in Sterkfontein.
According to a statement by ER24, paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 9.30pm to find a light motor vehicle lying upright on the side of the road. Three men were found outside the vehicle.

“Paramedics assessed the men and found that one of them, aged 21, had sustained a serious head injury which left him in a critical condition.
The man was treated for his injury and provided with advanced life support interventions before he was airlifted to hospital by helicopter,” the release reads.
The remaining two men fortunately escaped injury.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
