Muldersdrift domestic worker found dead in bathroom

The domestic worker was found with multiple blunt force injuries to the upper body.

The Muldersdrift Police are investigating a case of murder which occurred on Wednesday, 5 September.

A 52-year-old domestic worker was on duty when her employer left for work. When the employer returned home at 5.30pm, she discovered blood stains on the carpet of the main bedroom and found the body of the domestic worker in the bath with multiple blunt force injuries to the upper body.

“We are appealing to the community to assist with any information that could lead to the arrest of the person involved in this crime,” Constable Slindile Ntuli, spokesperson of the station said.
