Muldersdrift woman tied up by assailants wielding a toy gun
One of the robbers carried her to the main bedroom and dropped the toy gun on the floor.
Muldersdrift Police are investigating a case of house robbery that occurred on Friday, 14 September.
According to a police report, a 28-year-old woman was alone at home when two intruders entered the house. One of them assaulted her with a burglar bar while the other tied her up with her shoelaces.
“When she told the assailants that she would cooperate, one of them carried her to the main bedroom and dropped the toy gun on the floor,” Constable Slindile Ntuli, Muldersdrift Police spokesperson said.

“They took two jewellery boxes, three cellphones, a laptop and a television, and fled the scene on foot. The woman sustained minor injuries.
“We are appealing to the community to assist with any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects in this crime.
