Attempted murder in Wentworth Park results in injury and robbery

A man was shot at by two suspects.

In the early morning hours of Friday, 14 September, a man who was driving in Wentworth Park was approached by two men pointing firearms at him.

The man allegedly abandoned his vehicle and ran away. The assailants fired shots in his direction, injuring him. They also stole his phone and other valuables from his vehicle. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Krugersdorp Police are appealing to the community to assist with any information that could help with the investigation of this case. Information can be forwarded to Krugersdorp Police on 011 951 1152 or Crime Stop number on 08600 10111,” Sergeant Tshepiso Mashele, Krugersdorp Police spokesperson said.
